March 2012 Glymm Box - Overview and Review

 This is month two of a trial period (my self imposed one - I want to keep all 4 boxes going for 3 months before I decide which ones I will keep).  Glymm, as seen below, comes in a pretty pink outer box and a pink "shoe box" on the inside.  The items are enclosed in tissue paper and enclosed with a branded ribbon.

As expected, there was a card that lists all of the items in the box.  Plus I received a bonus one I guess.

 The Nu Me Feather Hair accessory I received was in red.  It was an interesting addition, but I am neither a hair accessory person or have anything to use to attach it to my hair.  Oh well, it may be useful to a friend or a niece.

Ocean nail polish in Pink Satina

The nail polish is from a company called OCEAN.  I could not find any information (or scarce little) online about this company.  I will be testing the nail polish this weekend and will let you know my thoughts on it.

Cost of the Polish is $12.

Lise Watier Flash List Radiance Vial

I think this Lisa Watier was a last minute add in this month. You apply it before you moisturize in the morning or on top of your makeup when going out to give your skin a boost.  Again, I think I will do a test of a selection of samples and post on it with my thoughts.

I received 1 vial.  The full size is 7 vials and is approximately $27

Masam Magic Fini

The M.asam Magic Fini is at first glance a type of foundation/concealer.  The shade they provided me was quite a bit darker than my skin but I have not tried it to see how it blends out. We'll see.

Sample size was 5ml, Full size is 30ml @ $38.




The last item is the Hydrafull Gloss from Anastasia Beverley Hills.  The advertisement mentions nourishing of lips.  Two things struck me:

1)  The gloss is very small
2) The applicator is like a spatula, not a brush or little deer foot.

The colour I received was Sorbet which is ultra vivid Pink in the container but on the lips is much more subtle.  It is not gloopy like many glosses and stays put for a while (post scone and venti coffee?)

Sample size was 1ml, Full size is 2.2ml @ $27.

Soooo.... My thoughts on this month's offering from Glymm.

3 Hoorays out of 5 means I am pretty pleased.  I am cautiously optimistic about this company's offerings.  One more month to go.
